Video Intelligence and Motion Analytics

Motion Analytics can analyze video in real-time to identify anomalous activity and perform a set of predefined rules such as recording or alerting of authorities. Cost savings can be substantial by only recording and addressing issues of relevance rather than analyzing all activity that has occurred. Savings in hardware can also be realized by allowing Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras to direct themselves to areas of concern based on complex algorithms allowing the same coverage with fewer cameras. Common applications include object classification, virtual trip wire violations, objects left behind, identification of loitering or suspicious activity, and detection of tailgating through secured areas.
